TALES FROM THE FERMI RESOLUTION Vol 2 will be a new collection of post-apocalyptic Fermi Resolution stories, featuring some old heroes, a bunch of new ones, and the beginning adventure in my upcoming Tom Vargas novel BANSHEE BEACH!
Something murdered the Galaxy. There was no warning, no explanation, and no mercy... except for humanity. Humans were the only sapients spared, and nobody knows why. Now Earth and her colonies gingerly explore the Tomb Worlds, picking through the ruins of dead civilizations for answers, or at least treasures. The researchers sent out can bring back wonders. If they survive.
Pamela Tanaka is the Chief Pilot for a research outpost on the terrifyingly comfortable world of One-Eighteen, and she is precisely where she wants to be. But when madness, murder, and mass sacrifice profane her chosen home, she must search for answers on her own - but not "before it's too late." Everybody who goes to the Tomb Worlds knows 'too late' has already come and gone.
...and that the *next* Tom Vargas novel is mostly written. It's called BANSHEE BEACH, and may or may not be out next year; it all depends on how the next Kickstarter goes. And when is the next Kickstarter? Well, keep watching the skies.

'Second wave' being the big orders and 'third wave' being various comp copies of TINSEL RAIN. Everything left over is a they-haven't-done-their-survey situation, but that's fine. Usually there's a few who don't, and I can just nag and nag and nag until they get around to it.
But the books are on their way! Some are even showing up as having been shipped, so you should start seeing your signed copies next week. Huzzah!
