The proofs have been, well, approved: and I've ordered physical copies of TINSEL RAIN for signing and distribution. I expect to get them some time in the middle of the month, which means that my self-imposed new deadline of distributing them around July 1st might actually happen, after all. So now is the time to fill out your survey, if you haven't - and to order whatever you're gonna order from the pre-order store.
Can't wait to get TINSEL RAIN in your physical hands!

TINSEL RAIN is back from the editor: and I think that it's reasonable to release the digital versions of the book now. Particularly since I want people who backed to get the book before it's available on Kindle. Which, hopefully, will be Friday. So check your emails, and I'm still on track to lock orders to take care of the physical rewards sometime in June. Gotta make sure the physical proofs are okay, after all.

The first editorial pass-through of TINSEL RAIN has been done! The editor reports that the book is not to be ritually bound and cast into the sun, thus clearing it for a second pass-through. Once that has been accomplished, it'll be time to put in the dedication and whatnot... which includes the names of the backers who get special thanks.
Most of you have gotten your surveys back to me; if you have not, please get your survey back to me. If you didn't get it, check your spam folders and/or let me know.
We are nicely ahead of schedule, mostly because of backer generosity. Thank you very much for that!

There's a few things I need to clear up with Backerkit before the surveys go out; hopefully it won't be more than a day or two before I can do a smoke test to make sure everything's working properly. Keep an eye out for your survey!

Just under $2,600 / 323% funded. A most excellent result! Thank you all, very much.
So what happens next? Well, while the money's clearing I'll be going over stuff with my editor, now that there's enough liquidity available to speed up the publishing schedule. I'll also reach out to my map guy, because we're going to need to update the map. I'll also be preparing a .zip of the artwork, getting the short story science horror sampler ready for distribution, and thinking about future projects this year. Which I can maybe do now, again thanks to your generosity and support.
That's pretty much it! Project's finished its fundraising phase, now it's time for all the unglamorous but necessary work. Which isn't your problem, of course.
