Second stretch goal down! On to the audiobook!

That means everybody gets the extra stories now - and I'll bundle up all the Fermi Resolution art and maps I've commissioned for our first-day supporters. Huzzah!

Moving along: we're over halfway to the audiobook stretch goal with, okay, four days to go. But why not take that swing? The Kickstarter ends Thursday: tell all your friends!

We're two-thirds done, and doing great! 

The book is backed, and we're less than five hundred dollars away from the next stretch goal. And over forty percent of our way to the audiobook stretch goal! This is awesome news, and it's all due to folks like you. 

But there's still nine days to go, and now would be an awesome time to let people know about the Kickstarter, if you are so inclined. Feel free to pass around the link: this weekend would be when when most campaigns 'traditionally' get their second wind before the end, but why wait? 

And, again... thanks for everybody who has supported the project thus far. It's been a tremendous help.

First week's results and stretch goals!

It has been a good week! We've funded, and will be tipping the artist a bit extra for her hard work. Which is awesome. But now it's time to talk about the ultimate stretch goals for this Kickstarter.

What we've got so far:

• $2,500: The Lunacy Sampler! I've been writing horror stories set in the first days of the Fermi Resolution. Specifically, I've been writing horror stories set on the moon in those first days, and I think they're pretty good. If we hit this goal, everybody who backs at the E-Book level or above gets a e-sampler (.mobi, .epub, and .pdf) of at least 3 stories, including one written specifically for this Kickstarter. This is identical to the first and second day backer reward: if we hit this, they will instead get all the digital art and maps I've ever commissioned for the Fermi Resolution books and RPG.
• $4,500: ...Audiobook!  At this tier, I'll have enough to pay for the audiobook version of TINSEL RAIN! I'll be using the same narrator as before, too. This reward goes to everybody who backs at the E-Book plus Special Thanks! level or above. (Note: this will be the equivalent of Audible files, not the Audible files themselves. Note also that the audiobook will not be ready in September.)

And what I'm adding:

• $10,000: Ghosts on An Alien Wind! This is going to be the next book I publish, and it will not be a Fermi Resolution story! In fact, it will be science fiction, set on a salvage colony found in the Tomb Worlds of a murdered galactic civilization. Obviously, nothing horrible is going to happen to anybody at any point during this book, up to including madmen, murder, marauders, mystery, and machinations. Surely there will be no cultist corsairs, either. Not at all. ...Anyway, if we reach this stretch goal then anybody who backs this project at E-Book or above gets an e-sampler of the finished product, and anybody who backs for a physical book will get a physical copy of this book as well. Ghosts on an Alien Wind will not be ready in September of 2022, but if we hit this level I will be able to get started on it right away once Tinsel Rain is done.

First off, and as always: thank you for your help. Really and truly, it is a comfort for me. This isn't always the easiest thing in the world to do, and it is a boost to the spirit to be reminded that there are people out there willing to buy my books.

But enough soppiness! Let's talk about the First Day reward and stretch goals.

$2400: The Lunacy Sampler! This is identical to the First Days Reward above. If we hit this, First Days backers get the art, as mentioned above.

$4500: ...TO BE ANNOUNCED!
